Heartsaver CPR/AED
This is the new American Heart Association CPR course taught with the updated 2015 guidelines. It replaces the previous Heartsaver CPR course.
The Heartsaver CPR and AED Course teaches CPR and relief of choking in adults, children and infants and use of barrier devices for all ages. It also covers the use of the AED machine (Automated External Defibrillator). It is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This would include teachers, fitness trainers, lifeguards and coaches. This is also a wonderful course for anyone that has a responsibility to care for another person including parents and babysitters . It is for the non healthcare professional. A Heartsaver course completion card is issued at the end of the class, on-site.

Heartsaver First Aid Only
Heartsaver First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.
Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid
Heartsaver First Aid, CPR and AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use. This is the new American Heart Association course taught with the 2015 guidelines.
The Heartsaver CPR, First Aid and AED Course includes essential information and training in the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA, all in a format that can be delivered in a single day. The course is modular to meet the needs of a specific workplace or group of employees. The core module comprises general principles, medical emergencies and injury emergencies.
The course teaches basic first Aid, CPR, and AED skills such as:
- Helping someone with a possible broken bone or sprain
- Giving CPR to an infant, child, or an adult
- Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR and AED
The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR and AED course is a credentialed course specially designed to train those responsible for children’s health in meeting state-specific requirements. This course is backed by comprehensive state-by-state research, and is formatted to allow instructors to customize it to include all topics required. Course modules cover CPR, AED, first-aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, and optional topics. This cours is an EMSA approved course.
